gpart software package provides Guess PC disk partition table, find lost partitions, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gpart
gpart is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gpart package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gpart *
You will get with gpart package name, version, architecture and description in a table
